Aegean Still Life

In this series, I paint the taste of the islands — not as recipes, but as moments of sunlight, as colors gathered on a wooden table.

I love how the Aegean reveals itself through simple things: a bowl of tzatziki holding the cool breath of yogurt and dill, red peppers glowing like drops of fire, feta resting in its quiet whiteness, bread carrying the warmth of the day.

These still lifes are small celebrations of everyday abundance — the generosity of the land, the comfort of shared meals, the way summer gathers around a table and turns food into memory, and memory into light.
