The Feast of Light

In Aegean Table Under Bougainvillea, the day begins in warmth and laughter — plates filled with color, wine shining in the sun.
Then comes After Lunch, when the air slows and silence settles among the crumbs and empty glasses.
Evening Light at the Table catches the last breath of the day — gold turning to blue, everything still and gentle.
And finally, Night of the Full Moon — the world reduced to candlelight, sea, and memory.

I painted these works in wet-on-wet watercolor, letting the light move freely across the paper, and with dry brush for the texture of wood, cloth, and time.
Each piece is a quiet meditation on presence and passing — a hymn to shared moments, to warmth fading slowly into stillness, to the taste of light that remains long after the day is gone.
